You have to understand that the body will not be completely in Walnut! The body is actually alder with a 1/2 inch top of walnut. The main sound is created by the alder which has more lows, highs and sustain. The walnut top is more for cosmetic. The whole body in walnut would make the sound darker with less sustain and highs, and it would also makes the bass a lot heavier!
The BB serie is very good for any style, finger fretted or fretless and Slapping.
