Hi, He actually uses a normal "padded" strap from Carvin and attaches it to the front of the bass with a strap lock. There is a screw that comes with the strap lock that you must first cut in half, to avoid drilling through the body of the bass. Then you screw in the "female" part of the strap lock into the bass (you must drill a hole first) and lock the "male" part of the strap lock onto the strap. This way you can remove the strap by unclicking it. It works great, but keep in mind that you can't return or exchange a newly ordered bass at Carvin if it's been modified like that. : ) Both the strap and locks are available at Carvin.
